Acumens Customer Portal Integration for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC

Deploying an integrated customer portal software framework significantly optimizes customer business interactions. The Acumens Customer Portal for Dynamics Business Central and legacy Dynamics NAV acts as a native addon to enhance corporate communications. With this secure extension, enterprise clients are able to track their sales (including Unshipped/Unbilled Orders, Posted Sales Invoices, and Unpaid posted Invoices), Save Card details, Save Bank details, and make instant Card and Bank Payments through web portals integrated directly to Business Central in real time.

There are two primary web portals created for this deep ledger integration which are acquired and configured based on specific client needs. It can be implemented as a reseller portal or a shared customer portal/salesperson portal matrix.

This application works seamlessly with Acumens e-Payments and Acumens e-POS backend structures to support automated Credit Card and Bank Payment processing configurations. The core functional modules included in this application are as follows:

  1. Customer Defined Payment Method Setup: A customer can update their mode of payment (Card or Bank) in Business Central, through a secure Save Card or Save Bank link shared from their Business Central customer account layer. The card types currently supported are VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
  2. Customer Payment Processing: Customers are fully able to process fast card or bank payments on their running Unshipped/Unbilled Orders and Unpaid Posted Invoices through a dynamic PaybyLink shared from the specific sales document in Business Central.
  3. Reseller Portal: This secure interface is engineered specifically for resellers and maintains comprehensive three-tier accounts i.e. Reseller, BC End Users and End Customers. Structural features are similar to a standard Customer Portal but inherit a wider business operational coverage path. Payment processing can only be executed on the customer tier. The Reseller portal natively supports Acumens e-Payments for clean payment processing loops.
  4. Customer Portal: It functions as an integrated web portal tied to Business Central that grants instant access to the core Business Central Customer Account where users can view their real-time Sales (including Unshipped/Unbilled Orders, Posted Sales Invoices and Unpaid posted Invoices) and also make digital payments. This portal configuration supports both Acumens e-Payments and Acumens e-POS for total billing processing. One payment processing app can be activated at a time.
  5. Salesperson Portal: This module is designed as a focused Salesperson profile integrated directly to Business Central where the field salesperson has live, real-time access to their role-related records. They can execute their day-to-day transaction activities on the secure portal, and these activities update into the central Business Central database in real time. The Salesperson has access to Customers, Item records, Sales related transactional documents and documents history.customer portal software digital payments

Strategic Value of Customer Portal Software Deployment

Utilizing high-performance customer portal software blocks safeguards modern distributors against manual invoicing delays and transaction collection lag. When enterprise clients manage multiple parallel purchase orders, giving them a self-service module reduces your customer support resource load. The tracking connections process data records synchronously, allowing your administrative departments to view clear processing logs without parsing manual email attachments or spreadsheet reports continually.

Securing B2B Payment and Ledger Infrastructure

Modern B2B account synchronization demands zero delays between user checkout loops and main ledger ledger entries. By processing credit cards and bank profiles straight inside an isolated extension tier, businesses protect sensitive information while ensuring clean audit paths. This architecture completely prevents financial records duplication, leaving your financial platform agile, completely scalable, and audit-ready for standard fiscal year closures.

Rather than relying on disconnected standalone processing gateways that fracture your accounting visibility, this configuration roots interaction summaries into centralized database master cards. If your distribution setup requires automated logistics tracking, you can analyze how these parameters communicate with our modules for advanced business central project management systems to secure structural data harmony.
